Caught 26 from 6:45 to 10:45. Had one good fish and some other quality fish mixed among some smaller fish. They hit pretty good early and right after the rain but as the sun came out more the bite slowed down.

Big Rock Lake - May 14th, 2024
I caught 36 in 3.75 hours fishing solo at the Big Rock. Sad part is I fished very sloppy, I missed or lost several high quality fish for no good reason. Minutes per fish 6.25
Whopper Plopper Morning - May 14th, 2024

Some in hula grub. Bite died early around 9:30 when Corps cut water level. Minutes per fish for me for the day were 11.3 minutes per fish.

Mike’s New Ride - May 11th, 2024
Mike along with his new SC themed yak floated 8
miles from daylight till 1:30pm. Falling water and a minor cold front made the bit a little slower and moved the fish out toward the deeper water compared to last Wednesday. I managed 50 and didn’t get a solid count on Mike but he did well. I had caught twi 18” fish and another that was 16”. Still a great day. Mike did well with his new boat.

Brad’s 45th Birthday Fish Bash - May 8th, 2024
Brad and I floated 8 miles on the Greenbrier from Eagle Branch to Lowell. The Greenbrier was the best I have ever seen it. Size and numbers. A fluke had about a 15 second life expectancy. I ended the day with 105 smallmouth with the best five over 80”. Brad combined another 55 for a massive 160 fish total over our eight hour eight mile float. I am not sure I have ever seen the Greenbrier any better. That came out a a fish every combined fish ever 3 minutes, I averaged a fish ever 4.61 minutes sustained over 8 hours. We averages 19.46 fish per mile. Just a great day.
