Blown Away - April 29th, 2020

Stan, Greg, and I fished Moncove. Early it was calm. I caught 3 quick and Greg caught 4 quickly. Then the wind and waves came and made fishing an untenable position. This spring has been cold, windy, and wet, 

One Lonely Trout- April 22nd, 2020

Stan and I hit Potts creek on a cold and windy April morning. I saw two and caught one. They had not stocked in 3 weeks and the fishing was slow. The drive over was spectacular though. 

Crawdad on Moncove - April 20th, 2020

The “Crawdad” boat my Dad purchased from Spring Hill Bait and Tackle in 1987 made it’s way back out on the water today. Fished in the rain and felt cold. I managed to catch 9. Biggest was 17.5”. I also caught a nice perch and even a bluegill neither of which is pictured. 

Rainbows and Tornadoes- April 8th, 2020

Brad and I hit Moncove at daybreak. Fishing was slow. I caught a 17 and a 16 plus two bonus perch. Brad missed a couple bites and had a hook break. We hit Cheese N’More for lunch then hit Potts creek. We caught a trout each on three hole hoping stops. 

Irish Morning March 15th, 2019

Greg and I fished this cold misty rainy morning. Usual early season Ned pattern was working well. We boated 13 fish over 13” between two is us in 3.5 hours of fishing. Biggest three were 17.5”, 16.5, & 16.25”. Both of us had well over 70 inches of fish within first hour and a half. Today was my first time in water fir 2020. 

Total fish = 6 

Biggest Fish = 16.25”

Best Five fish = 72.75”
