Batting Practice - April 13th, 2022

Hit some bass in the batting practice pond today getting techniques and setups dialed in before heading to Santee Cooper next week to swing for the fences. 

One Bass Afternoon - April 6th, 2022

I lost one tube and caught one bass in 40 minutes of fishing. 

My Kind of Monday - April 4th, 2022

Much better than your average Monday morning at work. Ned rigs ruled the day. We landed 14 bass and 2 perch biggest being low 3lbs range. 

Approaching Cold Front - March 26th, 2022

Fished two hours with dropping temps and an approaching cold front. I had one strike and one fish caught. Many tubes were lost only one fish caught. 

Brooks Falls Single - March 23rd Afternoon

Had one bite caught one in about an hour and a half of trying. 

Bluestone Zero - March 23rd, 2022

Saw a couple bald eagles. Heard a turkey gobbling it’s head off today. Got blown around in the wind. Had zero bites. Fished 4 hours.

One for Four with a Double - March 22nd, 2022

I had four hits in a bout an hour of fishing. I landed this one guy he was about 15”. Beautiful evening on the water. 

No Trout to Be Found - March 21st, 2022

Beautiful creek but after three hours and a lot of walking I could spot no trout despite being “stocked” 2 days ago. 

Two Before Work - March 17th, 2022

Got a could quick ones in the hour or so I had before work on Gitzit tubes. The warmer air coming out of a cold front has the fish looking to eat.

3.5” Gitzit tube for the win with the first smallmouth of the year.
