Afterwork Float - June 17th, 2019
Brad, Evan, and I hit the G after work for a quick 4 mile 3 hour float. We where on the edge of a storm but never got hit luckily. The fishing was tough and all I could manage was a bakers dozen dink’s. Still fun to share some time on the water.

WVKA Jackson County Shootout - June 8th, 2019
I headed to Jackson County for the second WVKA live event of the year with very few expectations. I did have a plan based on my experience and 11th place finish their last year which was the first and last time I had ever been there. I started off early with Ned but water was so muddy that was slow. I switched to a plopper and started getting bites. Then I caught a 20.5” on a bone plopper. So much fun to catch one that big in top water. Then as the day went on the plopper bite died, so I switched to a necko rigged sinko. The necko was really working, I went on to catch 31 total Fish under tough conditions in which much of the field of 87 anglers could not find five. I did not expect to win but that is exactly how it played out. Harper and I finished 1st place team and he finished 4th overall. Road wins are always the sweetest.

Summers County Championship- May 25th, 2019
Harper, Jared, Jerry and I fished the SCKBA Championship together today. We floated Narrows to Glen Lynn. I could not find big fish to save my life. I had two flash on a fluke but no taker. Jared did some better abs finished 3rd out of 38. I finished 8th and Harper was somewhere in between. Jerry had a real bad time finding any size. We had a fun day despite get dumped on by rain at one point.
